| Deborah
Kynes has been a leader in our community for more than 25
years. "Community service is a full time job. I am
privileged to be able to work with so many fine organizations.
I believe that community service is an obligation. My Mother
and Father were involved in our community when I was a child
and those values have stayed with me.”
Deborah, a native of Oklahoma, came to
Pinellas County in 1976 with her husband, Allen. She holds
a BA in English from the University of Arkansas and a Juris
Doctorate from the University of Tulsa, College of Law.
She is a voting member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma
and she was active in her community prior to being elected
to the Dunedin City Commission in February 1999. She was
re-elected in 2002 and 2005.
