will remain sensitive to current budgeting restraints
and a difficult economy while carefully balancing the
budget.

Deborah understands the diversity of our citizens, their
interests and their needs and will encourage new ideas
and programs that will further brand Dunedin's identity
as a small, quaint but vibrant "hometown."
Deborah will continue to encourage high quality development
and redevelopment compatible with Dunedin's eclectic
architectural styles.

Recreation and Culture: Deborah
will continue to improve our recreation and culture
as an important component to Dunedin's identity. Deborah
will explore a new initiative with the health care system
to provide our parents and children with nutrition and
exercise information to combat the national pandemic,
childhood obesity and early onset diabetes.

Economic Development: Deborah
wishes to expand commercial opportunities and economic
growth throughout Dunedin. Deborah will support zoning
and land use changes on the Dunedin Causeway Plaza, Douglas, Patricia and S.R.
580 (Main) that will encourage opportunities for economic
regeneration.
