Deborah Kynes Is Keeping Dunedin Special
Deborah has worked tirelessly as an elected official and community volunteer for more than 25 years. There is hardly any community organization that has not benefited from her hard work.
- Preserving Our Quality of Life
Deborah Kynes is passionate about preserving Dunedin’s
unique, eclectic character, quality of life and home
town feeling. Deborah has fought to restrict building
heights, bulk and densities. Deborah believes that new
buildings should look good and they must be compatible
with Dunedin’s existing structures and lifestyle.
- Fighting for Good Government
Deborah believes we must preserve our high
quality of city service and manage our City budget conservatively.
Deborah voted to reduce Dunedin’s taxes. She is
also looking for innovative ways to maintain the high
quality services our citizen expect. Deborah has worked
tirelessly as an elected official and community volunteer
for more than 25 years. Deborah is involved with our
community and she listens to all our citizens.
- Improving Our Recreation and
Culture
Deborah Kynes was instrumental
in partnering with the school system to open the sports
fields at Dunedin Middle School to the public. Deborah
was instrumental in obtaining the new Community Center
and Sterling Skate Park, to serve all our citizens,
young and old. From the Dunedin Fine Arts Center to
our parks, libraries, public places and history, Deborah
Kynes is our advocate for a better quality of life.
